USS Gregory Reunions

Members of the USS Gregory (DD-802) Association meet approximately every 18 months to share memories.

Ahoy shipmates! For our past reunion, April, 2019, we met on the Blue Seas of the Caribbean. We set sail from Galveston on RCCL's Vision of the Seas on April 10, 2019, for a 4-day, 5-night cruise. After a day at sea, we stopped in Progreso (Yucatan) and in Cozumel, followed by another day at sea returning back to Galveston the morning of April 15.

2020 Reunion Postponed!
Greetings USS Gregory Shipmates! The Long Beach USS Gregory Reunion was scheduled for Sunday, April 26 - Thursday, April 30, 2020, at the Golden Sails Hotel, 6285 East Pacific Coast Highway, Long Beach, California. This has been postponed. We will update members when we can reschedule.

You are encouraged to contact the hotel and make your individual reservations as soon as you decide you plan to attend, to be certain you get space from our bloc of rooms at the above price. If demand should exceed our bloc of space, additional rooms would be at a space/rate available basis. They quoted a 24-hour cancellation policy; please verify this when you make your reservations. Cut-off date for reservations is March 25, 2020. After this date, unreserved rooms will be released back to the hotel, and subsequent reservations will be subject to availability and prevailing rate.

If anyone wishes to spend additional time in Long Beach, The Golden Sails is offering the same $99/night rate, plus tax, for up to 3 nights pre- and post-reunion, subject to availability.

Please verify the hotel's cancellation policy when making your reservations, and be certain to advise them of any special needs (i.e., wheelchair accessible room, bottom level, etc. All rooms should be bottom level, but verify if this is a must.)
